Strong small forward who combines great physical tools and consistent shooting from three. Built like a football player, not the most agile but can handle the ball and create offense driving or shooting the ball. Pretty athletic considering his built. Can switch on defense and guard multiple positions thanks to low base. Son of former NBA player Adrian Griffin.
Doesn’t seem to realize his upside. Was not given his chance right away at Duke. Very good percentage from three but a bit mechanical shooting the ball. Same can be said concerning his handles, can drive by his defender but lacks elite moves and first step. Can be stuck with tunnel vision on offense and not a good passer for the moment. Could be a much better rebounder and defender considering his physical tools. Still looks very raw in term of basketball IQ despite his dad’s pedigree in the NBA.
