Not the strongest or most athletic point guard but a special talent. A true leader, Garland is as good scoring as he is involving his teammates. Always gets where he wants and plays at his own pace. Good outside shooter, can hit the three from NBA range without effort. Smart defender who knows when to harass his opponent and when to play the passing lanes.
Lacks elite size or athleticism, hard to know how he will handle the physicality of NBA point guards. Shooting release is a bit low. More of a scoring PG than a pure passer for the moment.
